Graham Hunter is Executive Vice President of Global Business Development at CompTIA, the Global IT Industry Trade Association. Through education, training, certifications, philanthropy and market research, CompTIA promotes industry growth; the development of a highly-skilled workforce and a commitment to creating an environment where innovation happens and the opportunities and benefits made possible through technology are available to all. CompTIA is the world’s leading provider of vendor-neutral skills certifications for the global Tech workforce. Graham is responsible for driving adoption across governments, businesses and educators, providing the most current certifiable IT training programs for their employees and students to meet the demands of the global IT workforce as well as providing senior strategic direction, leadership, management and support to the Global Sales. Prior to taking on his current role in January 2022, Graham served as the organisation’s Vice President for International Regions. Before joining CompTIA Graham was senior account manager for QA, a leading education and learning services provider in the United Kingdom. At QA, he was part of the meteoric growth which saw the business grow from £4 million to over £110m when he left to join CompTIA. During his time at InterQuad which successfully acquired QA Ltd, he was responsible for business development of major accounts across the financial and professional services sector. Hunter holds a BSc in Marine Technology, is a volunteer sailing instructor, keen golfer and married with a daughter.
